1. Purpose
These terms govern use of TravConnect(the “service”) operated by 레이븐리(RavenL)(“we”), and set out the rights and obligations of us and of brands using the service.
2. Definitions
- Brand — a business that registers a company account and runs products and campaigns on the service
- Campaign — an advertising unit shown to TravPick users under conditions the brand sets
- Matching rule— the criteria used to link a scanned product name to a brand’s product
- Ad wallet — a prepaid balance from which usage charges are deducted
3. Accounts
Brands must register accurate information and keep it current. Brands are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and must notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use.
4. The service
We provide product registration, matching-rule management, campaign delivery and scan and impression reporting. We aim to keep the service available continuously, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, faults or events beyond our control; where advance notice is not possible we will notify you afterwards.
5. Charges
- Charges are calculated per impression (CPM) or per click (CPC) at the bid the brand sets, and are deducted from the ad wallet as they occur.
- Delivery stops automatically when the wallet balance is exhausted or a campaign reaches its total budget.
- Our system records are the basis for billing; brands can review activity in the dashboard.
- Duplicate records of the same click event are excluded from billing.
- Deductions never exceed the balance; no post-payment or negative balance is provided.
- Refunds of prepaid amounts follow applicable law and our refund policy.
5.1 Nature of advertising credits
- Advertising credits are prepayment for advertising services provided by the Company. The amount paid is credited to the advertising balance at a 1:1 ratio.
- Credits can only be used for TravConnect advertising services and cannot be used to purchase goods or services from third parties.
- Credits cannot be exchanged for or withdrawn as cash, and cannot be transferred to another person or account.
- Unused credits can only be refunded to the original payment method and are not settled in any other way.
- Paid advertising credits can be used for 1 months from the payment date. Balances past that period can no longer be spent on advertising, but they do not expire and may be refunded.
- The usage period and the refund window for topped-up credits are limited to one year from the time of payment.
- Once the refund window has passed, a refund can no longer be requested; the Company will advise individually on how the remaining balance is handled.
6. Brand obligations
Brands must not:
- use third-party trademarks or content without permission, or publish false or misleading advertising
- configure matching rules so as to capture scans belonging to another brand’s products
- generate impressions or clicks by automated means, or otherwise distort reporting
- interfere with operation of the service or access systems improperly
- breach applicable law or infringe the rights of others
7. Content
Brands retain rights in the product information, ad copy and images they upload, and grant us permission to use and display that content as needed to operate the service. Brands are responsible for disputes arising from content that infringes third-party rights.
8. Suspension
If a brand breaches section 6 we may pause campaigns, restrict account access or terminate the agreement. Except in urgent cases we will give notice of the reason and how to object.
9. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our control. Where we are liable, our aggregate liability is limited to the advertising fees actually paid by the brand in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms with at least 7 days’ notice in the service, or 30 days’ notice for changes that disadvantage brands. Continuing to use the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the Seoul Eastern District Court.
